Quick Start Guide
Installation & Setup
Step 1: Install the Plugin
- Download the plugin from WordPress.org or upload it via your WordPress admin
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Activate the plugin
Step 2: Get Your Fal AI API Key
- Visit fal.ai/dashboard
- Sign up for a free account (if you don’t have one)
- Navigate to API Keys section
- Create a new API key
- Copy the key
Step 3: Configure the Plugin
- Go to Virtual Try-On in your WordPress admin menu
- Paste your Fal AI API key
- Customize the button text (optional)
- Enable the plugin
- Click Save Settings
Step 4: Select Products (Optional)
- Go to the Products tab
- Select specific categories or individual products
- If nothing is selected, all products will show the try-on button
- Click Save Product Selection

Technical Questions
Q: Are customer photos stored? A: No. Customer photos are sent to Fal AI for processing and are not stored permanently by the plugin or on your server. Privacy is a priority.
Q: What image formats are supported? A: The plugin accepts common image formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP.
Q: What are the image size requirements? A: For best results:
- Minimum: 512×512 pixels
- Recommended: 1024×1024 pixels or higher
- Maximum file size: 10MB

Privacy & Data
What data is collected?
- Customer photos are sent to Fal AI for processing only
- No photos are stored permanently by the plugin
- License validation sends only your license key and website domain
Is it GDPR compliant? Yes. The plugin:
- Processes data only when customers actively use the feature
- Doesn’t store customer photos permanently
- Sends data to Fal AI (a reputable third-party service)
- You should update your privacy policy to inform customers about the feature
