Installation & Setup

Step 1: Install the Plugin

  1. Visit fal.ai/dashboard
  2. Sign up for a free account (if you don’t have one)
  3. Navigate to API Keys section
  4. Create a new API key
  5. Copy the key

Step 3: Configure the Plugin

  1. Go to Virtual Try-On in your WordPress admin menu
  2. Paste your Fal AI API key
  3. Customize the button text (optional)
  4. Enable the plugin
  5. Click Save Settings

Step 4: Select Products (Optional)

  1. Go to the Products tab
  2. Select specific categories or individual products
  3. If nothing is selected, all products will show the try-on button
  4. Click Save Product Selection

Technical Questions

Q: Are customer photos stored? A: No. Customer photos are sent to Fal AI for processing and are not stored permanently by the plugin or on your server. Privacy is a priority.

Q: What image formats are supported? A: The plugin accepts common image formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP.

Q: What are the image size requirements? A: For best results:

  • Minimum: 512×512 pixels

Privacy & Data

What data is collected?

  • Customer photos are sent to Fal AI for processing only
  • No photos are stored permanently by the plugin
  • License validation sends only your license key and website domain

Is it GDPR compliant? Yes. The plugin:

  • Processes data only when customers actively use the feature
  • Doesn’t store customer photos permanently
  • Sends data to Fal AI (a reputable third-party service)
  • You should update your privacy policy to inform customers about the feature
