1. Who we are
Lookon – Virtual Try-On is a Shopify app developed by Michael Mwanzia / Mick Web Agency.

2. What data we collect
When you install our app we collect and store:
– Your shop domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com) — to identify your account
– Session tokens — to authenticate your admin sessions with Shopify
– Usage counts — number of virtual try-ons used this month and in total
– Widget settings — button text, button colour, product category you configure in the app
We do not collect, store or retain:
– Customer names, emails or personal details
– Customer photos uploaded for try-on
– Payment information (handled entirely by Shopify Billing)
3. How we use your data
We use the above data solely to:
– Provide and operate the virtual try-on service
– Enforce your plan’s monthly try-on limits
– Display your usage stats in the app dashboard
4. Customer photo processing
When a customer uses the Virtual Try-On widget on your storefront, their photo is:
1. Sent to our app server temporarily (held in memory for up to 5 minutes)
2. Forwarded to FAL AI (fal.ai) for AI image generation
3. Deleted from our server after the try-on is generated
We do not store customer photos. FAL AI’s privacy policy governs their processing: https://fal.ai/privacy
5. Third-party services
- Platform, billing, authentication – shopify.com/legal/privacy
- FAL AI (fal.ai) │ AI image generation – fal.ai/privacy
- Cloudflare │ CDN and tunnelling – cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
6. Data retention
– Shop settings and usage data: retained while the app is installed
– Session tokens: expire automatically per Shopify’s schedule
– On app uninstall: all your shop’s data is permanently deleted within 48 hours
7. Your rights (GDPR / international)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing
support@virtualtryonwoo.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be
notified via the Shopify admin.
